Big Room Inc. Completes Financing Round
Vancouver, British Columbia (October 21, 2008) — Big Room Inc., a privately held company focused on building and operating internet-based platform, database and marketing tools for green products and services, announced that is has completed a financing round with a group of Canadian, UK and US based venture capital and angel investors. The funds will be used to advance its business plan.
“Our strategy is to strengthen the market for green products and services by providing transparency and standardisation solutions to green business,” said Jacob Malthouse, Co-founder of Big Room Inc. “This financing and our group of investors will enable us to move ahead with our plans to develop the information platforms that will achieve this.”
Big Room Inc. also announced that David Levi and Nicholas Fitzpatrick have joined the company’s Board of Directors in connection with the financing.
