DOT ECO
The .eco system will display current, detailed eco-information to anyone with a browser, anytime they need it, anywhere on the planet. It will do this by collecting information from people when they register .eco domain names for their companies, organisations, products, or even themselves and then displaying that information on a standardised, open platform.
As well, the .eco foundation will send a significant amount of revenue from the sale of every domain to eco-causes around the world. This could include things like biodiversity, preservation, rehabilitation, poverty alleviation, sustainable consumption and clean energy, as well as support for eco-research and innovators.

Ecolabel Index helps people use ecolabels and educates consumers about their value.
We define an ecolabel as any consumer facing logo that claims an added environmental or social benefit.
The goals of the site are:
- Collect and structure data on all of the world’s ecolabels on one common platform
- Increase transparency around the characteristics and qualities of these ecolabels
- Help people use ecolabels more efficiently and effectively.
We started this site because the increasing number and differing quality of ecolabels around the world was creating confusion amongst business and consumers.
At the same time demand for ecolabels was increasing along with their use in government, university and business purchasing strategies.
We believe that markets need trustworthy and transparent information in order to grow. Ecolabel Index is the global provider of that information for the ecolabel market.
